| Grow Me The Money is a program for Victorian businesses committed to environmental sustainability. It is a collaboration between business, government, universities and environmental management experts to help all Victorian businesses take important steps towards eco-friendly ways of doing business, which can also save money. The program is backed by the Environment Protection Authority (EPA), Victorian Employers' Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI) with funding from the Vic State Government. The program also helps businesses access knowledge, experience and practical advice from industry leaders, government agencies, regulators and experts, to effectively manage their business in an ecologically responsible way. | | Vega was awarded Platinum Club membership with the Grow me the Money Program at a presentation on 12th December 2007. The Chairman of EPA Victoria, Mick Bourke, congratulated Vega on their success and committment to Environmental Sustainability. Platinum Club membership is awarded to businesses working with Grow Me The Money that have shown an outstanding long-term committment to reducing their impact on the environment. Platinum Club membership means that our business has not only implemented comprehensive action plans for water saving, energy saving, and smarter waste management and made initial measurable gains - we have also used the results of ongoing monitoring to revise action plans and achieve even greater improvements. Environmental sustainability goals are integrated into all levels of our business and our staff are encouraged to contribute to environmentally friendly policy and practice.
