Vega Press has FSC Chain of Custody certification and is a member of FSC Australia.

Vega has implemented an Environmental Policy that is designed to minimise the impact of its operations on the environment and our stakeholders.

Through FSC chain of custody certification Vega is able to demonstrate our commitment to environmentally and socially responsible forest management and label our products with the FSC trademarks.

Customers are permitted to use the FSC logo on their finished product provided the CoC requirements are met by working with Vega in the selection of paper stocks.

The FSC is an international network to advocate responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC's mission is to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests. FSC brings people together to find solutions to the problems created by bad forestry practices and to reward good forest management.

CoC is the path taken by raw materials, processed materials and products, from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution. The CoC standards allow credible tracking of certified wood and wood products from certified forests through trade and manufacturing to committed retailers and consumers.

2010 FSC Australia Awards

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Australia held its annual Dinner and Awards Night on the 17th November 2010. The objective of these Awards is to recognise and reward those organisations that exemplify the spirit and intent of the FSC system through their management practices, their contribution and their promotion of FSC certification and FSC certified products.

Vega Press was the winner of the PUBLISHER/PAPER USER OF THE YEAR. The category for large scale paper uses using FSC certified paper & printers.
