Vega is proud to announce that it was recently selected as a finalist in the 2010 Banksia Environmental Awards, in the category Leading in Sustainability - Setting the Standard for Small to Medium Businesses.

Graz van Egmond, Executive Director of the Banksia Environmental Foundation said, “The Banksia Awards receive hundreds of award submissions every year, so our finalists represent the very best sustainable practice in the country - it’s a great achievement.”

The Awards have become the pre-eminent national environmental awards in Australia since their inception in 1989. The 22 year-old Banksia awards recognise and celebrate Australia’s leading environmental or sustainable initiatives across business, government and community organisations.

The Prime Minister of Australia is the Patron of the Awards.
