Vega is an enthusiastic supporter of community events and fundraisers. The company has engaged in a number of activities over the years in support of our local and global communities. In particular, Vega has shown considerable support for the Tsunami aid appeal, Oxfam Australia and most recently beyondblue: the national depression initiative.

Vega put its full support behind the Melbourne Oxfam Trailwalker in 2006 by entering a team of 12 walkers. "Team Vega" consisted of representatives from every department within the business and included a Support Crew of over 20 staff.  Our 12 walkers crossed the finish line together despite some considerable aches and pains!   
 

Businesses, suppliers, clients, friends and family demonstrated their generous support by helping Vega to raise over $26,000 for Oxfam Australia. 
 

Our support of the Oxfam Trailwalker has continued in both 2007 and 2008 resulting in over $60,000 being donated to the charity.
